Privacy Policy

Keyrilo provides tools for rental-property operations, payments, and communications. This policy explains the information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

We collect account and profile details, property and tenancy information you provide, tenant invitation and access records, signed lease documents, transaction records, support communications, and device and usage data. Payment and banking credentials are collected and handled by Stripe; Keyrilo does not store complete bank-account or card numbers.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure Keyrilo, process requested services, provide account and payment updates, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations, and improve our products.

Tenant invitations and access

Property managers add a tenant’s name and email to a particular unit and choose when to send a private invitation. The tenant must verify that email before accepting. Accepted access is limited to that tenant’s current unit, rent schedules, payment history, and signed lease, and it ends when the underlying tenant or agreement record no longer matches.

For a shared rent charge, tenants in the same unit can see that the charge was paid and the name of the tenant who paid it. Tenants assigned an individual charge cannot see another tenant’s individual schedule.

Signed leases and automated reading

When a property manager uploads a signed lease for automated reading, the PDF is sent to OpenAI so proposed dates, names, rent, and other terms can be extracted for the manager to verify. A lease can contain personal and sensitive information. Automated output can be inaccurate and does not replace the signed PDF or legal advice.

Original signed leases are retained while needed to provide the lease record and meet applicable legal, accounting, dispute, or preservation obligations. Access to a tenant’s signed-document link is authorized for that current rental and logged.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
